"Fools, kill that vermin at once!!" Vermitrax says agryly as he raises his staff pointing it at the dragon. His left hand was left behind as he draw red and black runes with the tip of the staff and mumbled words of power. Giving a step forward he hit the runes with his open left hand, and from them, an orb of black fire shoot towards the dragon. In the last moment, the dragon is pulled down by Sharpe's words, and the orb pass just over it. Vermitrax face shows his disapproval as he mumbles something while frowning, but says nothing.

Don't mind him, he is a Necromancer. Being sadistic is in their contract. Sharpe says to the black dragon.

OOC: I meant to push the dragon to ground level too, I don't think I mentioned that in my action sblock.

ooc: Midway through round 5

OOC: thanks for pointing out the slowed flight ozy

The fighter and the wizard miss as the dragon attempts to get away. However, due to the battering he has taken by the heroes, the beast struggles to reach a height to escape. The bard takes advantage of this, pushing the dragon to the ground, prone again, in front of the massive timber wolf and his master. Meanwhile, the party argues on what to do with the fallen dragon, who lies prone, listening to everything that is being said, both in draconic and common tongue.

OOC: Zharne and the timber wolf up, and the monk :)

OOC: Since the dragon is now adjacent to Prime, who can now make AOs, he'll take Rain of Steel damage at the start of it's turn (already substracted in the map). Notice however that the dragon isn't Marked this round

Zharne sees Timber's new position and moves to assault the dragon again. The wildshaped druid charges the dragon and attacks with a flurry of claws and at the time that Timber attacks with his fangs

[sblock=Action Details]
Move Action:move to L14
Standard Action:Grasping Claws(hits Ref 20 for 24 Damage)
AP Action:Grasping Claws(hits ref 14 for 18 damage but I use Elven Accuracy on the roll so it hits ref 23 instead)

Gellan circles around the remnants of the fire, maddened with pain and frustration. He hurls himself at the sorely wounded beast, plunging his twin tan'gat deep into its eyesockets. As the huge carcass slumps to the ground, he yanks his weapons back out and howls to the sky. The tattoos on his face lose their subtle glow as the last of the dragon's acid slides away from him.

[sblock=Actions]Start of turn: Take 5 points acid damage, down to 19/51.
Move: Walk to R-9
Standard: Charge to P-10, attacking with MBA. Hits AC 23 (forgot to add the CA from prone), for a dead dragon.

The dragon falls from the final blow form the hafling barbarian. A grumble from deep within the dragon followed by a death spasm, and then all is still. The air is calm and the forest is deathly quiet. Although it is still dark outside, a feint light begins to creep through the forest, suggesting that the sun will be rising soon.

The party killed the two foes, but have suffered pain themselves.

OOC: This marks the end of this encounter.

OOC: Perception checks please

OOC: Perception check: 13. Gellan will spend 2 healing surges to get some HP back -- Luinnar, could Sharpe give him a boost with that?

Prime's torso slowly stops spinning, releasing steam once more before halting. He checks the huge prone coprses are really dead before making sure no more enemies approach.
