After u all had been in there for about 10 minutes two other gaurds come into the room from another door, the only other one in the room. Soon after a man in royalty clothing with gems and jewelry comes in the door as well.

"Im sure your wondering why i have called u here. And it is because i am in dire need of your help. You see the Goblins attacked again yesterday, which usually isnt a problem. But they attacked only a few hours after the orcs... which all but whiped us out with an extrordinarily large force. It was almost like the orcs and goblins were working together, but i doubt that seriously. Well my point is, during the attack the goblins apprehended my son, and only heir to the throne. He must be rescued for the sake of the kingdom... the reason you are the ones called here and not my royal gaurd is because i only have the bare minimum of gaurds left to defend my city. I ask you for help from the bottom of my heart. I will reward you hansomly, and will even pay half of it upfront. The total reward is 150 gold. So before u depart I will give you each 75 gold." He nods to a gaurd standing with a few bags which comes around to each of u and hands 1 of the bags. "I will also give send one of my most trusted men with u, he knows the area very well, and is skilled with the bow. I would like it if you would leave right now, or after you get supplies, but please leave before the night ends. If you need mounts, go to the local stable, i have told him you were coming."

All of a sudden a man, wearing camoflauge colored clothes in a large cloak covering almost his whole body, walks out of the door as well. He introduces himself and stands to the side of the king.

"Please leave as soon as possible so that no one suspects anything. As of now no one knows that my son is missing. Once you have rescued him you can continue on to the port where i will have my advisor and a few men waiting for your information and to escort my son home. While you are finding the prince please feel free to eliminate the goblin force u find. Are their any questinos?"

"Rescue son, kill goblins. Doesn't sound like much touble." Guuk replies, hefting his mace. He would have a chance to see how these frail-kin handled battle. That would be interesting. They all had small experience in killing from their looks, probably fresh out of training. Guuk didn't mind, he had longed to do more for the guild for a long time. Perhaps he could find some new recruits. He always loved killing goblins, their slimy brains squashing. That had been part of his own training. The stupid beasts were easy to find, and there was never a lack of them. Perfect training for new recruits. Orcs however, were a challenge. His own kin, though he felt no connection to them. He had the guild now, that was all that mattered.

Jonathon bowed deeply to the royal figure "Slaying orcs and rescuing a prince? It would be an honour, your majesty, to perform such a service for you. In fact, I'ld do it for free..." at this he looks at the sack of gold in his hand "If not for the fact that I'm rather strapped for cash at the moment.." His face lights up with a slightly cocky smile, and he bows again before turning his head to regard the others in the group.

Whatever anger Galen felt subsided somewhat at the royal appearance of the king as he entered.

After listening to the proposal, he thought Well, I've no great love for kings nor royal bloodlines, but the money sounds good, so I'll do it.

"The price sounds right" Galen said. Feeling his ire return, he continued, "But listen mister high-and-mighty, you oughta tell them guards of yours to knock a little harder before they goes bargin' into folks homes," barely controlling the urge to shake his fist up at the bemused king.

Then, remembering where he was, "but of course I am humbly in your service, my liege," bowing.

Ohh, this sounds like it's gonna be exciting, and we even get payed for helping that poor boy. I wonder if he looks cute. she thinks in herself, giggling a little. When the others made their statements, she changes her mind a little. Slaying? Do we have to kill them? Bunch of savages, maybe I could show them a little different way.

She addresses the king and those around him in a happy, almost childish voice: "Sounds like fun! What are we still doing here, let's go!"

Galen gives the elf girl a funny look, then nods to Gerrett that he's ready to go.

(OOC: I'm assuming that he brought his pony with him and can set out immediately if the rest of the party is ready).

After hearing what the uproar is about, Stoneheart agrees something needs to be done. Especially if goblins and orcs are uniting. He accepts the gold, and at the mention of mounts he says "if I'm to keep up with the big folk, I'll be needin one. Olga helps me carry stuff, but she's not one to be racin here and yon."

(OOC: I'm assuming that he brought his pony with him and can set out immediately if the rest of the party is ready).

Yes he brought his pony with him.

If you need mounts go to the stables. I guess everyone should meet up there. The ranger wont be leaving to the stables with u, he will be there shortly though.

"Horses? But they're so big! I will just ride my pony Thallia. But maybe if we want to move fast, one of the horses could pull my cart?" It is only now that Eclyssia takes note of those surrounding her. However, once she spots the 'thing' on Stoneheart's shoulders, she appearantly seems to have forgotten everything else again.
