"Let's not be hasty. There are plenty of ways to approach this problem." Fulgrim said, obviously not wanting to use the contents of the keg for that purpose.

OOC: The chest is a rectangle. It's 24" long, 18" wide, and 12" high. Its lid is flat (not domed). The chest is made of stone. It does not have any wood or metal, at least not on its exterior.

Fulgrim scopes out the ceiling, which turns out to be coated thickly in spider webs long since abandoned. Several dried husks of flying and crawling vermin of an unidentified nature are caught in the network of webs.

A worried frown creased Fulgrim's face. "I'm not so sure about those spider webs... or all of the dead things in them. Maybe we should clear out and burn them before we do anything further." The mage hated spiders. Hated them.

OOC: Just giving this a quick nudge. You've encountered a stone chest with a keyhole. The chest is covered in what (some of) you suspect is poison. There is a dead varmint behind the chest with a coating of clear substance on its underbelly and paws. The ceiling in the hidden room is covered with a network of old spider webs. Suggestions have been made to 1) burn off the poison using a spell or a torch; and 2) use the key in the keyhole. Let me know how ya'll want to progess the action in this room, even if it's only to close the door and leave the room for later.
