D&D Basic Rules Updated

The basic rules for the current edition of D&D have been available since the game launched. With the recent errata update, the free basic rules PDF has also received an overhaul. They are now in a single PDF, and contain illustrations!

Nice idea. I advise a high school game club. The little munchkins have taken up D&D and despite online resources and PDFs they like having books handy. I keep my extra set of core books at school for them. Three or four of these might come in handy.

Thanks :)

Thanks. I had set it up to do that about a year ago. I guess I need to revisit it. It was a cover with the dragon strung up.

Blistering Barnacles!

Tried this with Red Hand of Doom (bought from dmsguild) but doesn't work, says encrypted. Too bad!
Different products. PDFs from DriveThru/DMsGuild are watermarked and locked from editing. The Basic Rules are not.
(Having bought a copy myself, I can confirm it can be printed from Lulu.)

Thankfully, the PoD version of Red Hand Of Doom is available again on DMsGuild.

I don't like that they've been combined into a single document. Don't want my players to have access to DM stuff like monster stats. Also makes things harder to find.

When you print it out, just remove the pages you want to keep away from your players?

If players really want to know the stats, they can just look it up anyway. In my group, players make an effort not to look it up. And I cook up some homebrew stuff to throw them off - the latest wolves that charged at them were actually two a druids with quite a few more hitpoints and spells than they expected.
