The leaks this year about the WoW expansion have all been hilariously wrong ("Pirate-themed expansion, GUARANTEED!" "Discovering the backside of Azeroth, GUARANTEED!" "Revamping the old world, GUARANTEED!"), so I would take those with a grain of salt. It may be that the new leaders of Blizzard have figured out to plug more of the leaks.
