Round 3
The Emerald Claw driver's luck holds as he drives with the dark mastery of a fiend. Only Rethlin's prayers to the Silver Flame keep him from gaining ground as the two vehicles plummet through the clouds.
Claw chase check (1d20+1-2=19)
(Saved by Rethlin's aid another.)
Breaking out of the clouds, Bharag sees a cluster of buildings a quarter mile ahead (3 rounds if you stay in the clear and travel flat-out) Many of the buildings have flat balconies: any of which the skycab could land on in a controlled fashion, a few of which the skycab could probably crash-land on.
Below you, if you care to descend, is light traffic: you might have to try to avoid it, but it would provide cover. You might be able to skyjack a new vehicle, though that would be difficult.
The shifter on the skid grins savagely and gets ready to loose the last shot in his magazine.
He points one long finger at Kae, calling the shot, and his mouth moves as if he's saying something threatening, lewd, and witty.
Fortunately for any delicate ears in the skycab, he's a hundred feet off and there's a lot of wind in your ears, so you can't hear him.
The order is:
Kae
Zook
The bad guys
Bharag/Veyk
Rethlin
Kae is up...
