Tammarian begins to move up the corridor, searching for traps, hidden doors, recessed panels, buried treasure, or things that try to kill him.

After a thorough examination of the room, you reveal that there are indeed magical touch-trigger traps on the north and south facing doors. The other door is not trapped, but is locked and barred from the other side, and the heavy iron makes it difficult to judge just how hard it would be to move the door otherwise.

You can sense something on the other side of the door to the south. It seems to be partially ethereal, but you can't make out the shape, but the creature is definitely a large humanoid shaped creature.

Ikobian, not understanding the primitive gibberish, answers quietly in abyssal. "Silence, fool. There are intruders in the complex. Come, let us feast upon their souls, before the other guards arrive." Ikobian withdraws slightly, hoping that the creature will follow him.

Noticing Ikobian head toward the south door, Garrick nocked an arrow and covered that doorway from one corner of the room opposite that door. He wantedto keep as many sight lines as possible available.

As an afterthought, he looked up to the ceiling of the room . . . just in case.

The creature on the other side of the door stares for a few seconds, then turns and runs a distance out of sight. The creature lumbers quite quickly for such a large monster, moving southwestward.

Meanwhile Tammarian has disabled the trap to the door to the south, but has not yet turned to the door to the north.

Ikobian curses quietly to himself, demanifests and Dimension Doors to about 30 feet ahead of the fleeing enemy.

Garrick was scanning the room from the corner covering all of the possible entrances when he noticed Ikobian phase through the southern door. He sighed, but kept his vigilence.

"Ikobian's gone . . . again. This time through the south door," Garrick reported to those still in the room.
