The bed-barricade was pushed aside, and Enseth's head-lamp lit the hallway as it led westward and down. It ended at a locked oak door. The key had been discovered on the belt of the goblin shaman (as well as the key to the bridge-door and the door between the well-room and the altar) and the door was quickly and quietly opened.
The room inside was a storage room and larder, with enough fresh food, wine, water, and supplies to have kept the town healthy for a month or more while under siege. Angis concluded that only a betrayal from inside could have seen this town fall to a goblin army in so short a time.
The room had been searched, but not ransacked. Behind a pile of water barrels was a half-height iron door which led to a tunnel under the flint. Unfortunately, the tunnel had been collapsed. It could be cleared, but it would be several hours of work.
