Thomas sort of acknowledges Hrgach but the boy is definitely in a daze from all of this information. Balin shrugs"On a specfic vampire I couldn't say on them in general it's just a matter of finding the correct book.". With that Balin gives a brief bow to William and heads out.

Balin leads the way back to the inn and through a trapdoor to the basement. Things are not as expected instead of kegs of ale salted meats instead are weapons, exotic looking ones at that, cabinets and cabinets of weapons,potions and books.

"Unfortunately my family is good at slaying monsters keeping notes not so much, the books are a mess." Balin sighs heavily."Informal is likely split among many books."

Hrgach followed Balin back to the inn and into the basement. He looked around at the weapons and arched an eyebrow. “Impressive,” he murmured.

Then he looked at the mess of books and sighed. “Looks like we have our work cut out for us,” he said, glancing to the others. “We’re going to need coffee.”

The hobgoblin grabbed a stack of books and found a seat at a table.

GM: And the random unsubscribing strikes again

You find information on vampires but nothing on Azgalan in particular. The books list the shape changing capabilities of the vampire bats,dogs and mist. Killing a vampire out side it's coffin it will simply turn to mist and flee. They heal incredibly fast and are harmed by sunlight and running water, resistant to non magical weapons. No mention of red orbs.

Balin shrugs "that's awfully general information I was hoping for something specfic"

"Well, it does raise one question. If Azgalan, the creature we found trapped in a magic field, is a vampire. Where is his coffin? Before we deal directly with him, we should find the coffin."
