[IC] The Odd Job

Asha nods to Ana and grabs a stick from the ground. She concentrates for a second and the stick begins to glow lighting the path for the others. Asha follows behind Ana letting the stick light the path for the woman.

The stairs descend down some 20ft and become uneven in places which is odd given how smooth the cave was. At the bottom is a Large double door made from solid oak. There doesn't appear to be anyway of opening it from this side,no keyhole nor iron rings.

As the light reveals the large double doors, Ana says, "No keyhole or way to pull the doors, so it must be hinged on the other side. If it isn't barred on the other side it should push open. Looks heavy though, might take a few of us to get those doors moving."

“Odd place for a door,” Hrgach muttered, eying the solid oak door with no obvious way of opening it. Hrgach gave it a push and it thudded against something. “Seems to be barred.”

The hobgoblin mercenary pulled his dagger. He tried to slip it between the door and its frame to see if he could lift the bar.

OOC: Not sure if there’s a roll for that, and what it would be.

OOC: That is an interesting one, my first thought would be a slight of hand roll to get the dagger in followed by a strength check. Hmmm scratch the sleight of hand roll it would be easy enough to slide it in now I'm inspecting a door so a simple strength check will do.

Hrgach pushes on his dagger forcing the bar upon the other side of the door. Pushing the door open reveals the bar is infact made of silver.

You appear to be in a natural cavern its ceiling is high and vaulted with stalactites of various sizes dangle down. The floor is uneven in several places, sometimes dropping by several feet before rising again. On the far side of the cavarn are two passage ways running side by side just at the edge of your light source, they both appear to turn in opposite directions.

Asha follows the others through the door. She holds the glowing stick into the air to better illuminate the cave for those in front of her. She looks at the two passages then to the others.

"Looks like we have a choice to make. Which passage do you want to search first?"

Ana looks at the floor to see if there are any footprints/wearmarks in the dust/dirt floor to show one side is used more often than the others.
OOC: perception check [roll0]
