There's no mention of a Plinth in the Trades Ward section.



There's a brief (half page) section on Character Backgrounds where it recommends appropriate choices from SCAG, and a few noble houses to use with the noble or Waterdavian noble backgrounds. There's also Guild Membership, and Faction Membership (Began D'aerthe, Emerald Enclave, Force Grey, Harpers, Lord's Alliance, Order of the Gauntlet, Xanathar Guild, Zhentarim).

There's a sidebar on tracking renown.

Interesting so they added 3 new faction to the 5 preexisting ones. Perhaps we will get more in future products.

Not really. There's advice spread throughout on running adventures in Waterdeep specifically, but not urban adventures in general.
