OOC: You can't do that. You can't summon ground creatures and drop them. You either need to get close enough to summon it on the ground or summon an Air elemental instead. Also note that the duration of Summon Elemental Monolith requires your Concentration.

A creature or object brought into being or transported to your location by a conjuration spell cannot appear inside another creature or object, nor can it appear floating in an empty space. It must arrive in an open location on a surface capable of supporting it.

Heeding Harkuf's warning, Aethan doubles his altitude to half a mile and continues on towards the city

OOC: Wrahn, Why do you think a web spell would work in an antimagic field? Its magical, so any part of the web that goes into the field dissappears.

The three guards still do not move. Harkuf gets the feeling that they are waiting for something.

Alosat finds himself unable to get past the gate. In fact, his attempts to go ethereal through it don't seem to work at all, for as he contacts the gate, he goes back to the material plane. This goes for every other form of extraplanar travel. And there are in fact no air vents to allow him entry. This gate is pretty much airtight.

Aethan keeps flying and finds himself in very thick cloud cover. There seems to be something odd about the clouds, but he can't put his finger on it.

Gwynneth, you have reached the mountain side the city is built into, but you still have not reached the city yet. You do see three gaurds, but they are surrounded by an antimagic field for some reason.

/ooc: not Ethereal. Incorporeal. Incorporeality is not planar travel. And what about the surrounding rocks? Can they be burrowed through? Assuming not...

Alosat Shapechanges into a Quesar (BoED) and activates Consuming Brilliance near the door. It and surrounding rocks within a 15ft radius, if vulnerable, should be disintegrated as the spell.

OOC: It is exactly the result he wants. He can not tell if the Anti-Magic is up or down (it is invisible), but if they turn it off, the spell will no longer be suppressed and will take effect inside the area that was formerly anti-magic. He is using it as a way to detect if they have turned off the Anti-Magic field

IC: Harkuf waits as well, watching the men in the tower closely, waiting to see what reinforcements they call.

After a minute or two, he will cast spell turning on himself, but other than that round he keeps his action readied for the web to take effect inside the Anti-Magic Field.

Alrighty, sorry for the delay.

Harkuf, I'm gonna need a fort save from you. While you are paying attention to the tower, a cone encompasses you.

Alosat realizes that the gate and the ground around it seems to be magically warded somehow, so his actions don't affect it at all. Something doesn't seem right about this place.

Alosat frowns at the lack of progress. It occured to him that what he had been trying to destroy might be an illusion all along. Almost subconsciously, he Shapechanges into a Balor and examines the gate and surrounding areas with its True Seeing.

Regardless, he has been wasting precious time at this door. His Extended Timestop is likely expired by now. He looks the skies, a little worried, trying to spot the specks he had saw before. (Shapechange back into Gloom, assume Keen Senses from a Sunwyrm (Fiend Folio), giving him 8x normal sight. If spotted, use Assess Opponents on them, and try to gauge their speed.] While he is at it, he takes the chance to survey the surrounding lands, getting a rough idea of the terrain.

Next Alosat double-moves, in Force Dragon form, 500ft/round back whence he came until he gets a good way outside the anti-dimensional travel and underground force effects. There he Shapechanges back into his Gloom + Adrenaline Rush form and awaits his pursuers.

OOC: Just as a little reminder, Harkuf is undead and is immune to anything that requires a fort save that doesn't effect objects, he also has Spell Resistance of 40. (In case you have forgotten)

Save: 4 + 40 = 44

Does he see where the cone originates from?

Actually Wrahn, the Cone would have no affect on you anyways, but you did make the save. You didn't see where the cone came from, so you can assume it came from behind you somewhere. The cone was a gas.

Alosat's true seeing does not reveal to him anything he didn't already know. He looks around for the specs he saw earlier, and with his enhanced vision can now see Gwynneth flying over the mountain. He also spots three guards in an antimagic field. Make a spot check for additional details.

OOC: Where does Aethan begin running into the cloud cover? Is it inside the guard posts or does it extend beyond?

Taking care not to move completely beyond the cloud cover he may be spotted, Aethan slowly descends trying to find the bottom of the unnatural cloud.

Untrained spot: d20+24, 34. How far away is each, and in what direction? Also, Assess on the three guards.
