I still need to work on the complications.

Can someone with the 3rd ed stuff help me get this character converted?

Straight up conversion. Will and Fort Defense are limited to PL 7, Emotion Control is represented as an Affliction modeled Mind Control limited to Fear Actions. (though there are other cool affects I can see with a Fear based affliction.) There is no Rage in 3e and you are at Pl Caps with your Strike so adding more str w/ a flaw is out. So you have 2pp free.

When his son's life ended with a drug overdose, Edward Clayton's normal life ended, too. Accused by his wife that his neglect of his son and his family in general because of his job a mercenary caused the tragedy, 'Fast' Eddie succumbed to the bottle and later to other drugs.
Becoming a homeless in the seediest part of his home city, he was 'recruited' for a 'super soldier drug' test.
Seemingly dying he was quickly disposed, but the drug somehow reacted with the other ones in his body, causing a metahuman mutation and giving him super-speed powers and a immunity to poisons (including) drugs. Forced to live his life with a clear head again, he discovered that the man who was responsible for this experiment was also the boss off his sons dealers. Now he seeks revenge in the streets. Revenge on the Crime Czar.

All right, we have three.

Here's how this will roll:

On Sundays, I'll post a GM post. Every Sunday there after, I'll continue to do so. While you're free to rp, ATTEMPTED CHECKS WILL HAVE A DEADLINE OF TUESDAY AFTER THE SUNDAY I POST.

That means, outside special circumstances, that you're required to at least post once a week, and that you're allowed no more then one check per week (again, there will be exceptions. We'll deal with them when we encounter them).

Combat will be dealt in the pacing of 5 rounds per turn (a week real life time). While in combat, I require the general strategy your character will go for, then I'll run combat behind the scenes, leading to the GM post that reveals what happened.

Pacing will be slow, I admit, but I do this both for structure and to avoid PbP burnout that kills internet campaigns.

It's been 10 days since anyone posted in this thread, so I'm going to assume that this idea has gone to the scrap heap. In any event, I am officially dropping out to pursue other opportunities.
