He can see and hear you guys plotting an hours-long adventure to find him, but he's about to get drowned by a crazy psychic biker-gang cult leader NOW! Of course he's going to be a bit miffed, even though this is all pretty much his own fault. Add to that the fact that Agnasci isn't exactly about to win any congeniality awards, and you get a borderline scumbag blaming everyone else for his own problems.
