In that case, Mord would keep his. That said, I do doubt that Imami would be interested in handling said side mission and would probably tell us to handle it.

Kalorn finds it peculiar that the contact would be out of touch for so long - well before we left - and wonder if we're about to be conned. A quick message to Imani could clear things up.

As far as Luko... he's more alive than if he had led the party in an ambush. It's not a life that ends well, banditry. Sooner or later you meet someone far tougher than you.

But if we can find him a way out... why not?

2 important things:

1: are the coins real?

2: if you estimate the coin weight at 5 grams (a historically appropriate value)... 10 tons = 10 000 000 grams = 2 million copper pieces = 20 000 gold pieces.

It's not enough

1, we'll figure that out.
2. Never attempt to enforce reality onto a fantasy setting. Besides, these are Waterdhavien coins. Worth more than their value due to the influence of the city.

Hey, the price of things is usually pretty inforced!

Incidentally, it took 14 tons of copper to plate a 74-gun ship of the line, but those ships were very large. 10 tons is a reasonable amount to sheathe a few ships of more modest size, so that part holds. ;)
