Vorrin looks the dwarf up and down briefly, shugs, and slips his shortsword back into its sheath, returning his focus to the door.

"By the gods, what is that thing?" Pinder asked, his wooden spear put away as he points at the shortsword Vorrin just sheathed, hidden dwarf forgotten. It would appear that metal is foreign to the chimp, unforged in his lands.

Sessay moved toward Feleghost and casually stood an arm's distance away, sniffing at the feet of the dwarf before raising its snout, smelling the dirt and faint trace of blood on the man. But the husky seemed calm, curious.

Sayng nothing appears to be a good way out of trouble. Feleghost remains stationary for the moment, casually looking at the dog, with a feint smile on his lips, which were of course concealed behind his beard.

"My name is Khalil," the swarthy human says in response to Vorrin's proposal of introductions.

With the appearance of the dwarf, Khalil fixes him with a stern gaze. "Can you speak, stranger?" Your behaviour hardly inspires confidence."

Etrigan managed to find a spot that was equidistant from the door and the others in the...whatever they were in.

"All right, lets focus on the door now and whatever lies beyond... Vorrin, mate, what's through there?"

Looking through the partly opened door, Vorrin saw a large, semi-rectangular room capped with a bronze dome. Like the bedroom they stood in, this room appeared very thoroughly gone-through, with chairs torn apart, paintings torn down, and holes gouged in the walls. It was lit, dimly and erratically, by a grey-green globe dangling from the apex of the dome, which slowly pulsated its sickly light.

Through the center of the room stretched a 20-foot wide chasm. With each pulsation from the globe, a few small bits of stone accumulated on the edges of the chasm, as though it were repairing itself. Each time the light faltered, stones fell off into the void, snapping off and crackling with energy.

Beyond the room, through the gaping rift, Vorrin saw a swirling, chaotic expanse of elements churning, colliding, breaking apart and forming together. It looked a lot like home.

Feleghost moved towards the entrance, and placed himself behind Vorrin to see what he saw. He did so, extremly silently.
