I didn't see anything in the other teleport descriptions, but teleport circle stated:

The spell fails if you attempt to set the circle to teleport creatures into a solid object, to a place with which you are not familiar and have no clear description, or to another plane.

but it does specifically state 'circle'......

If we can't just teleport them into a solid, we can easily arrange empty spots for them to go into. Using the arrange stone spell (or whatever it is) to make open area large enough for either mace of amulet or both, or similarly use arrange wood (or whatever it is) to make a space. Every 17 days we can make a new spot or two new spots, and refresh the contingency spell.

Also - does this teleporting have the change to miss? If so, do you roll it every time the conting. goes into effect?
Yes, the teleport would have a miss chance - unless you contingency "teleport without error" instead of teleport into the spell (is that greater teleport in 3.5?)

But, the miss chance is really low - in a worst case scenario, you still have upwards of 85-90% chance of it arriving on target.

That would work just fine.

Sweet, so we have our contingency. We already have the first 2 scrolls and I think we should get the Teleport Objects and activate them as soon as we get the chance.

Ok, so we go to the Druid's Forest. Pick a tree. Hollow a space in it. Then Nystul's Magical Aura it so it doesn't read as magic at all. Then we study the area so that the Teleport Object has the minimal chance of failure.

There's this great little cottage in the middle of the forest with nothing around it... just kidding.

Just a quick question- If you mean hollow as in making the gapping the whole inside it why would we need to cover the magic? Once the hole is there the magic is done, the magic alters the shape but that's it... or is magic leaving traces?

You'd probably have to case Nystul's aura on the blade itself, or it will still detect as magic. However, as it is an artifact, Nystul's Aura may not be enough to totally shield it's power.

Regardless, it will make it harder to detect than normal, so you might as well.
