The Ogre Once agains attacks Phoenix but his swing lacks accuracy a sign of his wounds (roll natural 1 would have been 20 damage :] )

Lookspring lying prone grabs for his wand and heals 8pts and is now positioned to the side 10 ft from the ogre.

Phoenix- lashes out with charged energy that slices the brute once again leaving a nasty cut on the Ogres arm.

Rowan- The Ogre continues to deflect Rowans strikes with the guisarme.

Fearing the monsters giant club, Lookspring crawls away from the ogre until he thinks he can safely stand up.

OOC - Going to attempt to move a bit farther out of his reach so I don't get pounded like a tent peg, then try to stand up.

Rowan stands his ground, fighting. His eyes narrow with determination as he sees his comrades flung around.

OOC: He misses, though, oddly enough, rolling exactly the same as he did last round...

ooc: updated last post with Phoenix's action

initiative order:
Ogre (14)
Lookspring (11)
Phoenix (4)
Rowan (3)

The Ogre steps forward and with a mighty swing again attacks Phoenix landing a crushing blow 24pts damage. The greatclub knocks her back to lie broken on the floor beside Rowan. [sblock=Phoenix]need constitution check[/sblock]

Lookspring Seeing Phoenix go down and understanding that leaves one less barrier between himself and the brute Lookspring jumps to his feet letting 2 rapid shot arrows fly at the Ogre. The first fins its way to the creatures neck lodging there, the second finds only armor and falls harmlessly to the floor.

Phoenix- Showing unnatural resiliency remains conscious and plays dead in a pool of blood.

Rowan- Seeing his companion go down becomes enraged feeling the blood pump through his muscles as they tighten and thrust the Guisarme with pure rage and ferocity he manages a strike through the Ogres defense adding a nasty gash to the many wounds the creature has already taken from the group. The Ogre falls over in a loud crash nearly pulling Rowans Guisarme from his hands.

Ogre 85 pts damage

Phoenix 39 damage (1pt remaining)

Lookspring 17 damage

Phoenix- F Elan Soulknife 4 (AC: 20, HP: 1/40, PP: 0/6)

[sblock=BigB]BigB, Phoenix will use her remaining 2 Power points to activate her Resilience racial ability and negate 4 of those points of damage, leaving her at 1 HP. She will let herself be tossed to the ground where she was going to be anyway. Here is the Con check if it is still needed.Constitution check (1d20+2=9)

I think she better play dead this round and hope that the Ogre will focus on someone else so she can move away and/or drink a healing potion next round. BTW, how close is the Ogre to her position currently?[/sblock]

Phoenix is approximately 10ft away from the Ogre - just within its reach - lying near Rowan.
