SX:3 From the Bowels of Philadelphia (Hero For Hire Judging)

OOC: Sorry for the delay. I'm headed out for the weekend so quiet until Monday.

Aphib leaps from the water and grabs onto the Robot's hand. Aphib opens his maw wide and an until-now unnoticed glands in his throat retchs up a slippery substance covering TG. The slick flem makes TG impossible to hold on to, she slips from its grasp and falls towards the water. She pulls out of the dive and flies behind the robot. Aquaphibian gets an amused look on his scaly face before being backhanded from behind by the robot. As he falls towards the water, Twilight Gryphon swoops in to save him.

Ghost tries to dismantle the creature from inside, but fails again.

"Thanks...that was pretty amazing! Your physiology would make a fasincating medical study! Gryphon says climbing back into the sky.

"Where to...besides a good distance away from that Snatcher Bot?"

 

[JRYoung]

"Let's hold off on a disection for awhile, shall we?" Aphib responds with a wink. "Let's get to the Dam again TG, Dr. Null has to be stopped!"

OOC: another hero point is expended negating Fatigue leaving Aphib with 2 HPs left.

Twilight Gryphon arcs wide enough to avoid the metallic monstrositie's reach, "Sure thing, and thank you for flying Gryphon air; we realize that you have many choices and hope to earn your business again whenever mad scientests or other nefearious suspects need to be stopped.

OOC: Aphib marks a bruise after his powers reduce the blow. Forgot that in last night's post. Just get som actions together and I'lll see you after the weekend. Hope Ghost makes a comeback.

Aphib and TG speed to the Dam and need to find the flow controls right away to shut it off.

OOC: On the very next round Aphib gets a DC10 CON check to recover from the bruise due to Regeneration: DC10 recovery from Bruise (1d20+7=27)

 

[Salix]

As the duo fly towards the dam the robot emits a cone shaped beam of energy from it's eyes. Both heroes are caught in the path of the beam, and are scorched by the heat, but are able to fly towards the control room.

Meanwhile...inside Ghost tries valiantly to destroy the machine, but fails.

OC:
Just wanted to set the scene up again. The heroes are flying towards the power control room on the top of the dam. There are around a half dozen tankbots near the east power station. Ghost is still inside the robot, trying to bring it down. The robot has continued to focus on the two flying heroes. What do you guys do?

OOC: TG and Aphib need to shut off the water flow, so they are heading to the control room.

TG and A-phib reach the control tower. They try to figure out how to shut it down. Once they do, they are flabbergasted to find that the controls have been rendered useless. The dam is running full-bore regardless of their attempts to slow it down. Just then the structure shakes from an explosion, and pieces of shrapnel shatter the glass of the control room. They rush to the window to find that it appears Ghost has taken out the mammoth robot.


OOC: The actions took three rounds, one for travel, one to figure out the machines, one while Ghost brought down the machine. Next action?
