[SBLOCK=Rinaldo]"I understand, but I cannot take decision for our group. I'll meet back my friends and I will quickly transmit the answer to you." Rinaldo stands up and salute the mayor, leaving his company.[/SBLOCK]

Rinaldo arrives, followed by Hogarth and see the others gathered. "It looks like you were in good discussion." Hogarth takes a seat and relax. Rinaldo stay standing near the doroway. "I've talked with the mayor. He tells me nothing that was new, except some variation on the informations we had. Like the party of dwarveswere simple a small party of adventurers, with some dwarves in it, who were on there way to somewhere and have killed some of them. The orcs seems to still be a source of danger for this village, and some hobgoblin are gathering in teh region and may become a menace too.

About the tower, there might eb more than one wizard in it, but they are all gone, and since that time, there were rumors of monsters. Someone have rpetended to kill it, but the rumors have stayed. I must tells with so many rumors, it is hard to figure exactly what is hiding in it.

Whatever, the mayor want to us take part of a feast and give us the official title of hero of the town. It is mainly to gives hope to the villagers. I only fear that giving such title gives too much hope to the villagers. They might think we are here for the orcs too, but will we take care of them or can we? That I acnnot tell. But having the official title of hero might help us to have the help of the villagers, but I don't see it as a necessity. What do you think of it?"

"I say we should go." Ashnar says "And as for the orcs, while we aren't here for them, I feel we can deal with them if necessary. We've done fairly well against that army of sahuagin in Monemvassia, considering we were distracted by Jezibel and were grossly outnumbered."

"You... handled well... the dragon's army too." adds Hogarth "and without... weapons."

Rinaldo nods. "But I wouldn't have complain to have Ogrin, Razh, Tor or Somac for more strenght if we have to fight a large group..." the eyes of Rinaldo falls on Vanitri "Well, even without a mucle specialist, we were able to handle those bandits... Sara who had come a bit late to the rescue. I suppose if we prepare ourselves well, we shouldn't have much problem, and I suppose you two have some new spells that could come handy in such situation."

"I Agree, the orcs can wait till they present themselves, as it's not what we came here for initialy, though I wouldn't shy away from such a conflict," Vanitri says. "Still, if they wish to make us heroes, I don't see the harm."

(OOC: Good--want to post something about proceeding then? The mayor wants to award them certificates that state that they're heroes and have a signing ceremony to boost the village's morale)

*Rinaldo lets them know that the group is coming to the feast, which starts in another hour. Once the group prepares and arrive at the 'feast', they find that the fair is modest, at least by feast standards, but it is still good food, and the people who come to laud the heroes seem grateful. At the end of the feast, the mayor has a ceremony where the party signs the bottom of a big ceremonial certificate and he hands them each smaller personal certificates stating that they are heroes of the village who are there to save the village from the Phantom Tower.*

"Thank you, my friends," Mayor Lucas tells them, "Let me send you a guide to help you reach the tower and take the horses someplace safe while you're in there. Do you have anything you'd like us to store while you're in there? We can take care of heavy objects and things you won't need in case you have to Climb or Swim or something in there and don't need the extra weight."
