Of course climbing requires handeye coordination. Especially balance.
Likewise pure physical strength to catch oneself, lift oneself upward, and maneuver oneself.

Do you want to just remove Dex from the game?
Maybe just have "physical" and "mental" as stats?
PowerThe trick is what to rename strength. My current front-runner is "Power" which has similar connotation, but changes the focus away from muscles.
