I recently published a fantasy novel, The Staff of Naught for the Kindle and Nook. I hope some of you might enjoy it. Please take a look at:

Nook or [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Staff-Naught-Tales-Corland-ebook/dp/B004VMTVUS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&m=AG56TWVU5XWC2&s=books&qid=1302264968&sr=8-1"]Kindle[/ame]

for details.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my book.

I read the sample. It looks like it could have potential.

Are you interested in constructive criticism, or just looking for support?

That being said, please feel free to criticize away. I'm a big boy. Well, not literally.

Nook Process

I found .ePub to be far easier than .prc as a file format. .ePub is for the Nook and .prc is for the Kindle. The main issue with .ePub is that it picked up the tags better. I write in MS Word 2010 and then save as a Web Page, Filtered.

As far as getting my book up on the website it was about the same for Amazon (Kindle) and Barnes and Noble (Nook). You give them a bit of information and simply publish the book.

I'd recommend getting the freeware Sigil to create the .ePub and .prc files from the .html file and then a Nook and Kindle emulator for the PC or Mac so you can see what your book will like before you publish it.

They both have good reporting software.

The hard part is the publicity. The more people who pass the link along the better and I've gone to all the local papers and Barnes and Nobles trying to get readings and reviews.

I can go into further details if you want Matt,

How did you find the process of getting on the Nook, compared to getting on the Kindle? Easier? Harder? Basically the same?
