I am sorry, I am a heathen, and do not worship at the Altar of Action.

John Wick, who art so awesome, hallowed be thy name; you've got the guns; thy will be done; at the Continental as it is in Paris. Give us this day to walk our cute dog. And forgive Umbran his trespasses, as we forgive those who know not the excellence of true action. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from insipid MCU movies.

I'd say Neil Gaiman's Sandman comics/graphic novels are up there.
The ones just by Gaiman, almost certainly (the second Death series was a big step down in quality, though). But DC is continuing to extend the line with spin-offs he's not writing, with mixed results, which I think brings it down. (It's an inevitable danger of playing in someone else's work for hire superhero sandbox.)

So I think the Sandman line probably dips below Discworld, by Gaiman's good friend Sir Terry.
