I just forwarded this to a friend who is perfect for the job, and he's a Mac user. In fact he converted me and I've never loved an inanimate object before, but my Mac is freakin awesome.

How can a Mac user be perfect when one of the requirements is experience with the Win32 platform?

I'm a Mac user at home and a Win32 user at work. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Because people that work in a tech field like myself work on Win32 at our day job and come home to an effortless Mac experience.

Um, the ad talks about programming multithreaded Win32 programs... that has nothing to do with what computer you have at home or at work.

I actually meet most of those requirements. I don't do much windows coding, though.

Hmm... Stoke the fires or try to put them out? Decisions, decision...

Bah. Let's not let this devolve into a platform war.

Gettin' soft in my old age...

All we use in the FDG office (and at my home) are Macs-I absolutely love my G5.

Both platforms have their problems.

In the job ad, the suggestion that there's going to be an online D&D experience is interesting. This seems like they're just at the beginning of their development process, though, so it might be a while before we see anything major.
