I just picked up CD yesterday, and was looking through the base classes. I really liked the idea of a spontaneous cleric and druid, and especially the twist with the shaman where you pick your "known" spells every day.
What I'm wondering is is do you guys think that the spellcasting abilities of both classes are balanced with each other. IE you could give the favored soul spellcasting to the cleric or the other way around without modifying base attack, HD, saves, whatever, and the same with the shaman and the druid.
Would that be balanced, or do you think the special abilities and all the other parts of the class are working to balance out advantages or disadvantages in the spellcasting itself.
