Seven Devils Clever, kitsune swordmistress

Not quite as twinked out as Lianne the insane-Cha
bard/paladin/samurai/iaijutsu master, I think, but still a fun
character, both from a powergaming and a roleplaying perspective.

ECL 12, 32 points, PC wealth. I might make and post an ECL 20 version
later.


Seven Devils Clever is an almost frightening example of kitsune
potential applied to a pursuit singlemindedly.

After being discovered as a shapechanger and chased away from several
iaijutsu schools (almost getting killed on two occasions), Seven Devils
Clever managed to acquire several written iaijutsu manuals, and she now
trains by herself.

Most human masters who hear about the kitsune iaijutsu master point out
that sheer stubbornness can be mistaken for discipline, but can never
make up for its lack. Time will tell, but so far, it would appear that
Seven Devils Clever is truly disciplined... or that the masters are
simply wrong.

Tactics:
If she wins initiative (and she usually does), Seven Devils Clever deals
between +3d6 and +7d6 additional damage with iaijutsu focus. Thanks to
boots of speed, she can charge up to 120 ft.

She routinely fights using Karmic Strike, taking a -4 penalty to her AC,
but gaining the option to make an attack of opportunity against an
opponent that hits her, up to 10 times per round. She relies on her DR
to compensate for the increased number of hits from the lowered AC.


Future development:
Next level, a level of fighter and Leap Attack, for charging over rough
terrain and better damage. Boots of speed are again useful, granting +12
to jump checks when activated.
