So here is the question, is the Rogue Guide on all 4e Forums,
.... cursed ....
No one can finish one
The rogues are very possessive of their secrets.

I think rogues have been unpopular amongst the rules-savvy since they were out-done at their role by fighters in the original PHB.

I generally see both Rogues and Rangers out damage the Fighter on a regular basis. I don't see what the Fighter has to do with the Rogue guides. If anyone puts them to shame it's the Swordmage/Warlock or the Swordmage|Warlock hybrid using Fey Step cheesiness.
I think the thing that leads to the Guides going away is that there is always new information. The wiki project over at WotC should at least help with that, since new people can pick up the whole kit and kaboodle.

If you can't build a rogue that outsneaks a fighter, don't consider yourself rules-savvy.

Sneaking isn't a role in the 4e meaning of the word.

Which has nothing to do with who is actually mechanically capable of more damage.
And rogues are still better at it than fighters.
If you want strict 4th edition parliance, "sneaking" is what strikers, subtype skirmisher do. There are also lurker rogues.

To make sure I grok this fully, a Rogue's ability to deal more damage than a Fighter has nothing to do with a Rogue's ability to be a better Striker than a Fighter?
Did I miss the point where Rogue was transferred over to Defender?
