I'm thinking of buying the DnD Boardgame for xmas - so whats it like?

Would it be any interest to a non-RPGer (newbie)?

This game I'm not sure if its a new 'foreign edition of the adventure game or something entirely different.

I've heard some decent things about it and I've thought about purchasing it for introducing kids to roleplaying. It's strictly a European thing, I don't know if there are any plans of releasing in the States, so you'll have to order it overseas (and is about the only thing keeping me from buying it right now.) There are some reviews either here at ENWorld or at RPG.net of the game that might help you make a decision.
