The OP kept saying "to me" this and "to me" that. His post was cast entirely in terms of personal preference.

You guys act like it's an "edition war" to even express a negative opinion of 4E. So a bunch of 4E people come in and crap in this guy's thread and bluster about edition wars, in a vaguely threatening way like you're going to report him. I don't even like this dude's game of choice (True20) but I find it appalling.

So he doesn't like what you like. Deal with it, please. This mob mentality is getting old.

In the mean time I'll be supporting True20 as my game of choice for fantasy medieval roleplaying.

Its amazing what even THIS post can incite in terms of veiled jabs.

I have to admit I'm getting tired of BOTH sides little pokes and jabs in veritably EVERY cursed thing I've been reading on the boards lately. Especially when they utterly derail interesting threads let alone the ones that aren't informative at all.

To the OP, I honestly wish you luck and good gaming with whatever system you go with. I'm sure True20 is awesome in its own right.

I'm sure I'm missing a point of why this was posted, I apologize if I come across as a bit snappy, but Is this about needing justification for switching systems? Is it asking for True20 advice? Is it seeing who'd ask you to switch back?

I try to leave 'I'm quitting x' posts alone. This includes Warcraft quitting posts, the veritable deluge of artists on boards stating that they're quitting or 'against' various genres of art, and people who would quit needlepoint. But lately I've honestly just had most of my online experiences ruined by not one, but hundreds of these posts being dotted around each week. The worst offenders being artists (If you want to see 'doing it wrong' wars, read an art board. Good lord.

I apologize if I've crossed some line, but what do you say to folks who post threads such as this? Come back? Don't eat tacos? My hovercraft is full of eels?
