4e [Eberron] BnP Keep on the Shadowfell (Yea, though I walk through the valley of th)

[sblock=OOC: Iridian]Looking closely at the cave walls around the waterfall you note that they seem to curve. To curve in a manner that indicated the waterfall may be concealing another entrance to the cave.

Before they head toward the lair, Zaram speaks. "I think it would be best to enter towards the alternate entrance. Hopefully we can catch them by surprise."

Before they head toward the lair, Zaram speaks. "I think it would be best to enter towards the alternate entrance. Hopefully we can catch them by surprise."

"Wait, it looks like the waterfall might be a third entrance. Perhaps one person could sneak in there while the others move to the alternate entrance." offers Iridian.

"What if they expect us to follow, and send another group to attack us from behind. I would really prefer a fight in the open, instead in their trapridden caves. As some of us prefer ranged attacks, we could try to block or trap the other entrance and lay an ambush by ourself. That would minimize their home-advantage." Tyron tells his fellow adventurers.

ooc about ten minutes pass as the group observes the entrance and discusses tactics (you've all regained your encounter powers)

"Hmmm. I would think since the ones that escaped are warning them, they would want to hole up inside and let us come to them. There is little chance of them coming out here to engage us when they have the advantage inside. I am also against splitting up. We could barely handle that ambush, and we were all together then, what could they do when they can ambush and might have traps prepared against us?" Zaram pulls out a javelin, testing it's weight before deciding to use it in the upcoming battle.

"The cave looks still like a trap for me. And the ones outside weren't surely their elite warriors. They looked more like expendable troops. But I don't want to stay alone. We have to watch our backs and proceed slowly. Has anyone of you expirience in finding traps? I may be able to disarm them, but my senses are not that keen." Tyron answersrs.

Adain looks at the enterances. They're not going to come up any time soon, and we're not going to be able to get them from out here. We're going to have to go in eventually. We could all try the unobvious entrance so we don't split up.
