Melora's Tide + Healer's Lore

nittanytbone, why don't you email them again, telling them, that ppl are saying, that Healer's Lore should not apply to Melora's Tide because it is not a cleric power (and Healer's Lore specifies cleric powers in its description), but a feat power.

They are probably not aware, that that's the problem and only answer the other question, whether Healer's Lore applies to regeneration (which I also think it does; same as Beacon of Hope, which will surely also work with Melora's Tide, since it affects all your healing powers).

Revinor, check out the top right corner of the power boxes in the PH. There it says "cleric power", "feat power", etc.

Healer's Lore specifically says it only applies to Cleric powers. So feat powers such as Melora's Tide, Kord's Favor, and Raven Queen's Blessing, powers gained from other classes by multiclassing such as Inspiring Word from Student of Battle, and Item Powers such as those from Tombforged Armor and Symbol of Radiance would not be affected by Healer's Lore. All of the above would be affected by Beacon of Hope, since it doesn't specify Cleric powers. This is how I would interpret RAW.

If the CS interpretation is the correct one, then they need errata to fix Healer's Lore wording.

In that case Healing Word doesn't qualify either.

Thanee -- I'll drop them another note next weekend and point out the issue as a possible item to errata.

That one is open for argument. The definition of Class Features, says that some class features are powers that every member of the class can use. If it said these were "class powers", I would have no doubt class features would count as class powers, but as it stands, it's debatable. However the RAI seems to be to apply the Healer's Lore bonus when using Healing Word.

The divine feats are gained from a feat, but they are Channel Divinity powers, which is a Cleric class ability. It seems like it should apply, esp since Melora's Tide has the healing keyword

Channel Divinity isn't exclusive to clerics, though, and the Channel Divinity feats are labeled "feat powers," not "Cleric or Paladin" powers.

So going by that: Class features must count as powers because Healing Word is a class feature.
Of course!

It's doesn't matter if a Paladin can use Melora's Tide.
Channel Divinity is a cleric power (given as a cleric feature), so Melora's Tide is a cleric power (it is an instance of a cleric power). And it can be a paladin power too.
