some figures just from Batman Begins, just show the ghoul factor...
Opening weekend: $48,745,440
Domestic: $205,343,774 (55.2%) + Foreign: $166,510,009 (44.8%) = Worldwide: $371,853,783

Cool. Should easily beat Iron Man. I think only Harry Potter might challenge it overall.

Mmmmm, ghoul factor is big in this one but I don't know how long it will last, could be tight. I see it right at the 500 million mark worldwide. Going to be interesting to watch how it does this coming weekend, X-Files and Step Brothers coming out. Which I see Step Brothers as having any chance to be number 1 but then Will Ferrell opening has only been 18 million average.

The Dark Knight - budget 180
Domestic: $155,340,000 (79.5%) + Foreign: $40,000,000 (20.5%) = Worldwide: $195,340,000

Hancock - budget 150
Domestic: $191,504,000 (51.6%) + Foreign: $179,814,933 (48.4%) = Worldwide: $371,318,933

Iron Man - budget 140
Domestic: $314,360,000 (55.5%) + Foreign: $251,730,682 (44.5%) = Worldwide: $566,090,682

Indiana Jones - budget 185
Domestic: $312,584,000 (42.1%) + Foreign: $430,093,965 (57.9%) = Worldwide: $742,677,965

Here it is Thursday and Dark Knight is doing some major boxoffice damage...

Domestic: $203,773,518 (83.1%) + Foreign: $41,300,000 (16.9%) = Worldwide: $245,073,518

It has been bring in about 20 million a "WEEK" day!

I am surprised, yep...

The Dark Knight's the fastest picture to cross the $200 million mark ever, eclipsing Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest's eight-day run. It already qualifies as the biggest opening week gross, beating Dead Man's Chest's $196 million, and still has two days to go.
