Not being able to search is very poor

Not having the abiliy to search these forums because of not being a community supporter is a very silly decision.

It makes the forums much less usable as a tool for news or information.

I just end up going elsewhere which is im sure not what you want people to do.

I just feel a search option is not exactly an advanced feature.

I go to that point below.

It makes the forums much less usable as a tool for news or information.
I rarely use the Search function, and most of the time, it's for convenience. The ongoing discussions don't need it so much...

I just end up going elsewhere which is im sure not what you want people to do.
Well, it's a little sad since it might lessen the size of the community (and you don't benefit from it either) - but since you don't pay, it mostly means one person less costing server bandwidth and database time.

I just feel a search option is not exactly an advanced feature.
It is costly, since it provides the most computing resource on the database. The more people search, the slower the database will be. Either the performance will suck, or Morrus needs to invest in more servers. Since he can do the latter only if people pay even more money then they already do (as evidenced by the latest fund drive), either we all pay in form of slow boards, or some pay even more money so that others get the benefit.

Do you have a silly walk to go with that? ;)

I've heard since the Ministry of Silly Walks gets less funding then the Military some time ago, the support for Silly Walk development has gone too low. I wouldn't be surprised if Morrus was one of the first to be hit by this change. And you know how hard it is to train your Silly Walk if you lack financial support.

Indeed. Ever since I've been a student I've been forced to walk normally. It's a bear on the knees.
