Ok, we have Figther, Cleric, Warlock and Wizard (I'll leave that to Erekose), leaving me wide open choice... it's been a time I want to try it, so I'll go multiclass. I'll go for a human Swordmage who dabble into wizards skills.
 

Mirage is a cunning tiefling from Undhil. He works for the state protecting the city and its interests at all costs, more often than not through subterfuge and deception. While few know it, his true motivation lies in protecting his parents and little sister from the horrors that the city of Undhil faces on an almost daily basis. He keeps knowledge of his family from all but his closest allies, knowing that betrayal of that secret could cost him dearly. Often pragmatic is in choices, Mirage can infiltrate enemy organizations, erase those who need to disappear, or take almost any action to ensure his family's survival.

If you have any space now or later I would love to try this. As it looks like you have the roles pretty well covered I would consider going Velmont's way of an MC character. I've been wanting to try a halfling Rogue/Paladin of the Raven Queen.

I know how this is and how easy it is to lose a player.

Pretty good. And yay! A family to put in danger at some point! (probably not day 1, though).

A thought, though : Far from me to encourage people to min/max, but you do realize that the Orb of Imposition keys of wisdom, right? With the current stats and choice of powers, you'd be better of with the staff of defense.
