Redemption

Set and shot on location in Africa, Bauer and mentor Carl Benton battle an international crisis, while here at home the nation prepares for a new president on inauguration day. Taking place just a few months before the new day dawns, U.S. State Department officer Frank Tramell and Jonah Hodges are pulling the strings that will set the stage and raise the stakes for Season Seven

Ahh, A dose of Jack Bauer goodness to hold me over 'till January. I am slightly disappointed, I don't think he uttered a single 'Damn it' in the entire two hours. An interesting way to get him back home though.

Over all, good show.

Hopefully, they've been spending a lot more time on next season than they did this 2-hour teaser. :) It wasn't bad, but it just didn't quite have the same 24 feel as the TV series does.

Nice teaser though. Got me pumped up for the series return. :)

This was the most expensive episode of 24 ever, and involved more time and resources being used to produce it than any other episode. And you want them to spend MORE time on next season?

Really? Hrmmm, weird. I didn't know that. Out of curiosity is it the most expensive cause it's twice as long or because of everything they put into it?

Enjoyable show.

3 Thoughts:

1) The scene where Jack is defending the camp with the children - I would love 2 hours of this kind of action. ;)

2) I still dread the "B-Storyline" around the president and her family that is about to come. Maybe it will be good, but there is a limited number of characters in 24 I am actually interested in, and these story-lines always leave something to be desired (like action). But this was just the start of the season.

3) 24 and Prison Break ought to share the universe. For some reason, when I am watching Prison Break, I am always reminded a little of 24, and the other way around. Sure, no one among Scofields "merry men" are as badass as Jack, and the action is different. But they still seem to share some similarities. And obviously - Jack fighting against "The Company" seems easily believable.

Because of everything they put into it. They were filming on location in Africa, for quite some time.

Enjoyable show.

I thought it was just me. The two are the most leave you on your seat shows on television.
