The Ebon Mirror: Dark Marks (Dunamin judging)

As night falls the group find themsleves approaching a small settlement. A single light burns brightly in the central dirt throughfair and as they draw nearer they are able to make out the silhouette of a lone Forged standing a lonely vigil. The sentry wields a massive greataxe with casual ease and is clearly powerfully built, as they approach they begin to make out brass colored skin and a white Omega symbol which covers the Forged's face.

The Village itself otherwise seems to have turned in, clearly a farming community that goes to bed and rises with the cows - in a plutonic(sp?) fashion.

OOC: Apologies for the delay folks I have just been feeling a bit sorry for myself withhe flu the last few days and kinda picking here and there. The Forged is our new member Soldier run by Ozymandius, he should be able to keep up well enough with second level characters and he adds a defender to the group.

As you approach, he notice you and turn towards you then he yells, "HALT! WHO GOES THERE?" in a volume that either he don't care if the people are asleep or that he don't know what sleep is, then he murmurs to himself, "erm, what was it more I was supposed to say? oh yes that thing." then he yells, "DECLARE yOUR INTENTIONS!" after which he awaits your response

"Greetings, guardsman. We are peaceful travelers passing through this town. We mean you no harm as long as you mean us none in return." Kama'zer says as she steps forward more slowly to let herself be seen in the light.

"Ah... I can't help to feel surprised when meeting your kind... It's strange, almost like speaking with ... well with an iron golem." Mri'Thas scratches his head. "But as my diligent comrade said, we mean no harm to you or to that..." the githyanki can't avoid making a distasteful gesture towards the village. "... humble town."

OOC: Welcome aboard! never mind my pc, he's a yerk(or was it jerk?) sometimes, not much of a social character with his 6 in Charisma

Ts'iri was happy to let Kama'zer do the talking. She seemed to have fallen into the group spokesman role. She simply said "Hello." She seemed more interested in the settlement than the warforged.

OCC: Howdy Ozymandius! Just one thing. Your spoken text color is very dark and blends into the background. Could I get you to please switch to a lighter color?

"Town? I thought it was a village, at least they told me it was." He answers confounded then he continues, "And my designation is Soldier, not Guardsman. They, the civilians, asked for help with bandits that have raided the village and I don't know where they are or where to find them so I thought I could wait for them here so I could finish them off when they return" He then turns to Mri'Thas with a enthusiastic look in his bright jade-green eyes and asks curiously with childish smile,"What is a Golem? Tell me, please? I am new and don't understand everything yet"and the warforged waits eagerly for Mri'Thas' answer, staring intensely at him with a joyful but almost gullible looking smile, that seems out of place for a huge lumbering machine of war

OCC: Awesome Ozymandius, thanks. And your english is fine. It seems that the people here with english as a second language write better than a lot of people with it as a first. ;)

"Well a golem is a less complicated, bigger, and more stubborn version of your kind. They are complex artifacts, that like you did, require a great deal of craftsmanship and arcane power to build. Golmes can be built of many materials, even soft and wet clay. The golems generally can understand basic commands and obey without doubt. Perfect meatballs if you ask me." Mri'Thas explains delighted to his new pupil.
