Who can suggest a good feat?

right now in a campaign i am playing with a duskblade lvl 7 so i now have 3 feats. I have chosen Power Attack and Versatile Spellcaster and i need 1 more. Any good suggestions ?

Sooner or later nearly everyone who uses a weapon takes weapon focus...

Combat Expertise is also useful.

If none of the ideas sound nice to you, Improved Toughness is a good backup plan. It's not the sexiest feat in the world, but more hit points is never a bad choice.

Leap Attack?

Steady Concentration isn't sexy (unless you use Diamond Mind maneuvers), but is useful.

man i am planning to take arcane strike at lvl 9.Unfortunately i cannot take it earlier but the knowledge devotion is great and combined with the skilltrick collector of stories (+5 on knowledge checks to identify monsters) is a great choice

I'm not sure if the +5 applies there, though. I had Knowledge Devotion and Collector of Stories in a game before, and the DM ruled that using Knowledge Devotion wasn't actually identifying the monster, and thus I couldn't get the skill trick bonus on the roll.

Another two little things to keep in mind about the skill trick: as a skill trick, can only be used once/encounter, so if there are several types of monsters, it won't benefit you to ID all of them. Also, it specifies it can be used on trained knowledge checks (which was annoying to me as I was playing a Dwarf Cleric w/ Ancestral Knowledge, which not only makes knowledge checks wis-based, but also lets you make them untrained).

It depends on your choice of spells, but Energy Substitution metamagic feat is useful for a Duskblade, as most of the attack spells deal either Electricity or Fire damages. Acid is most versatile. Yet Cold can be another good idea as something immune to fire tend to be vulnerable to Cold.

would you say that taking the feat ''extra spell'' for the spell ''find the gap'' , is a good choice ? it is a spell lvl 3 and it allows me to treat all of my attacks as touch atacks
