Let me see how you earned your forum XP

When I go to my user profile, I see a list of all the XP I've gotten and given. I wish I could click on other people's profiles and see that too. It would be a great recommendation system -- "see other great posts by this user," plus "see what kind of posts this user likes." If you run into someone with a ton of XP, you can see what made them famous. And maybe they'd even post more just to get a more impressive XP wall.

When I click on your public profile, I can see how much xp you have (in your case, currently 16) and it shows the most recent persons/threads for which you received those points.

It does not, however, show who/what you gave xp for ....

I don't see it as a big deal, as far as I can guess (though no actual proof) that very few people bother to click on profiles in the first place ...

By the way, this should probably be in the meta forum.

On Circvs Maximvs ("sister" site to EN World), a similar system exists, and one of the posters worked out a "Nareus Magical Rep Mapper", that allows to show various diagrams of the reputation donning. It's core purpose was more to map out the possibly existing "cliques" on CM, which is probably not desirable on EN World, but it also shows statistics indicating the posts getting the most reputation (in general and per poster).

Correct. That would be undesirable here. We are actively trying to avoid the clique-forming aspects of rep systems, in favor of the "this is good gaming content" aspect.

This has been a lesson in "how to scroll to the bottom of the page." If you look at Umbran's profile, for example, the left column seems to end under his user messages and I didn't scroll down to see the XP there. Also, I looked for a meta forum but I quit looking once I scrolled down to the "user hosted sites" part (I would have expected it to be up top in a sticky). So thanks for letting me know where to find it.

I had been telling people in posts I was giving them XP, now that I know it's public I won't bother doing that.
