Does Everyone See the Same Similar Threads? Do you use it?

I occasionally will look them over when I notice them. Often, I've already seen them (who would think I might have common interests?) or they're, as someone said, necro city and I don't want to tempt myself to respond to one. But I will glance through one once in a while at least.

I'm not an SEO expert, but I suspect the Similar Threads tool was built for that purpose originally. A human using it matters less than Google's spiders using it.

I use it fairly often actualy - it links similar threads (and I dont mind Necro nostalgia) and it also helps when you have a poll thread and a linked discusion or for instance keping track of an IC and OOC thread in the Playing the Game lists.

This is what I have up right now - is it the same as yours?

Exactly the same. So I think all users have the same list.

So the next question becomes- what happens if you have a thread starter blocked that would show up on the similar threads list?

It looks like their thread was removed.. I wonder is Cadence's thread was like the naturally generated #6, and then bumped up to replace the blocked poster's thread.

I never click on any of them. I tend to just click on the community tab at the top and not even bother to down arrow to a specific topic like 5e or community in general.
