My remarks were more in relation to the generic four-person party normally used to determine CR, and not to any party specifically.Raven Crowking said:Seven-person party in this case.
(And, I will point out, no fatalities)
What? No map? No illustrations?
I should scan the original drawn map at some point, but it's pretty straight-forward, and should be comprehensible on the basis of the text.
The bit I wrote for my daughter to introduce her to rpgs might have some usable encounters as well: http://www.enworld.org/forum/general-rpg-discussion/180526-introducing-child-d-d.html
A nice little adventure, but I have a couple of questions about it. (Which the OP will need to answer, of course.) What class was Heather playing? I would suspect Bard, as both fighting and magic seemed called for. Also, about the bridge: did it occure to her to sit on it and inch her way across? (What I really want to know is, what would have been the ruling in this case? Its just the sort of thing that a kid would think of doing. In fact, trying to envision what a child might do as I was reading it is what made the question pop into my head. Otherwise I might never have considered such an obvious tactic!)The Art department has been slacking. Maybe they need to be sacked.![]()
(I love my little PDF creator)
