Not really, no. I guess this was just the Ravenloft fan in me trying to come up with a tragic story to make the Queen someone relatable. I avoided sending a Queen article (no, not Freddie Mercury's statsI like your take for the ... sadness in it - still looking for a lost family.
I am not sure it's a weakness or a strength that your story reminds me of the Prince of Frosts story - he grew cold because he lost his lover and is searching for her reincarnation. (Was that one of your ideas that you submitted to Dragon you mentioned in the Prince of Frost thread?)
I really dug the Eternal Glory. It adds a creepy factor that you don't get in many Gods, as well as a new angle.I got inspired by Nepthytys, Isis, Orpheus and by D&D's own Wee Jas and the Eternal Glory (the non-evil undead religion from Libris Mortis).
