Another option is to use the "Mages" property from AV on the Parrying Dagger. It's slightly more expensive than a generic +1 (1 level higher), but it saves you a feat.
Another option to increase damage as a Swordmage: Take the Arcane Fire feat and either a Frost weapon and Greenflame Blade, or a Flaming weapon and Frigid Blade (the cold-based at-will from Dragon).
This gives you an at-will that does both fire and cold damage. The first time you hit triggers the Arcane Fire feat, giving the target Vulnerability Cold 5 against your next arcane attack. So, if you keep hitting, you get a consistent +5 damage.
Add Wintertouched for an extra +2 to hit on most attacks. ;-)
