Not that it matters due to Tira's high attack roll(her first in the encounter), but isn't it a -5 to attack roll due to running?

Thank you Delgar, that was a very enjoyable read. If not for the bump, I would have missed this.

When in a game, it is a pleasure to be with other gamers who have infused character into their character, and who understand how to play it well.

And it is also great to see a DM who has his stuff together, who can challenge the characters appropriately and make them think and earn their XP, loot and accolades.

You are correct, I wrote this back before 4th edition had come out using only the snippets of the rules that we had. I'll edit it to be correct.

I wish I hadn't missed this the first time around. I think I would have picked up 4E sooner if I had read it earlier.

It's funny. It's threads like this and the actual play threads of Piratecat and Rel (IIRC?) that make me want to convert to 4E. Ads don't do it; seeing how people are using and enjoying the game is what works for me.

Sorry PC. I was just cutting and pasting it so I could show it to a couple of new players that I'll hopefully be running through an online 4th edition Eberron game and while I was looking at it I thought someone who didn't see it a year ago, might enjoy it.

I suppose I could do a paragon combat example, is there anywhere online with some paragon pre-generated characters? Or would someone be willing to make a 4-5 character party and post the characters online so that I can reference them? Any interest in me doing something like that?
