Enchantment Spells

Hello everyone!

My character in my PFRPG game is an enchanter (mostly because of character concept, he's a borderline pacifist and prefers methods of ending fights that doesn't involve bloodshed), but the core list of enchanter spells is a little lacking, though the ones it does have are nice. (The level 0 becomes completely useless after level 4, for example.)

I've got the two arcane 'complete' books as well as MoF, but the enchantment spells are often overlooked, it seems, in the splats. It isn't uncommon for there to be /no/ enchantment spells of a particular level in these books.

Can anyone recommend a good source of spells for a would be halfling enchanter?

Joe's Book of Enchantment by Throwing Dice Games. $6.95. I own this and highly recommend it. Lots of neat things like fear based enchantments (instead of necromancy based), enchantments that make your foes think they are crippled similar to the blindness/deafness type spells and some neat feats and great feat concepts.

Dweomercraft Enchanters by Dark Quest Games $3.50. I own this but have not gone through it enough to comment much on it.

Encyclopaedia Arcane Enchantment by Mongoose Publishing $10.46. I don't own this one but I do think highly of their Encyclopaedia book on Necromancy.

Those are the most applicable I can think of. I don't remember many enchantments that really stood out from third party big books of spells, but here are some sources:

Complete Book of Eldritch Might by Malhavoc Press (Monte Cook). $13.

Spells & Magic By Bastion Press, $9.99. A 3.0 book.

Relics and Rituals By Sword Sorcery Studios/White Wolf. $9.99. 3.0

Relics and Rituals II Also $9.99. the 3.5 follow up.

Fantasy Flight Games put out one called Spells and Spellcraft, but they don't currently have it set up for sale as a pdf. (They are ever so slowly putting back their old d20 ones back up for sale, so far just a few Midnight 2e books though).

Pocket Grimoire Arcane by Green Ronin $7 compiles a bunch of 3.0 arcane spells.

Renegade Wizard's Spellbook by Mongoose Publishing $13.97 is a 3.5 200 page compilation of OGL spells.

From WotC: Spell Compendium, obviously, and Player's Handbook 2 (as it has the Beguiler class in there, it also has a number of enchantment spells).

Bye
Thanee

Master Specialist in Complete Mage could be a good option for your character concept. You can fulfill this prestige class's requirements at L 3. Then at character level 7 (Wiz3/MS4), Charm spell's +5 save bonus during combat is removed.

But beware Unhallow.
