Pathfinder 1E Sinister Pathfinder

I'm in the middle of running a Mysteries of the Razor Sea game using house ruled Pathfinder Beta.

I'd be interested in a pdf (depending on price) of Razor Coast using either 3.5 or Pathfinder.

How's Tale of the Seabear working out for you?

Hi Nick, I know this thread is about Pathfinder compatible future releases, but do you plan to continue to release core 3.5 stuff for the foreseeable future, or do you see yourself shifting over entirely to Pathfinder?

Hi Kyngdoms! I'll be doing both for the foreseeable future. 3.5 OGL and Pathfinder. I am also toying with doing True 20 versions, and other systems as well.

How's Tale of the Seabear working out for you?

Hit and miss. Its different doing horror mood D&D in an email game than at the table and my group's style sometime's works well with it and sometimes not. I generally handle all rolls so the possession things have been subtle through my descriptions and NPC reactions, though I've had two PCs make secret email will saves that were not posted on our yahoo group archive.

They are currently convinced the cat is behind everything. Also that they must find all the map and journal pieces, use mending spells to repair them, and sail the mast back to its home. They have explored half of the ship so far, unfortunately mostly by kicking in doors looking around from the doorway and saying "looks boring, on to the next room." without checking out anything inside (even though their captain had tasked them with thoroughly checking out the ship). They've noticed wierdness among the crew sent with them and the ranger who is unknowingly half channeling the captain is wondering why some of the (possessed) NPC crew keep giving him murderous glares and he keeps seeing them do wierd suspicious things. The same ranger is super pumped to have a gun even though the PC sorcerer points out it won't do much if they come across another zombie.

We've been on hiatus for awhile but I'll be picking it up again soon hopefully.

I haven't decided whether or not to run with their idea of reconstructing the map and sailing it back. The PC priest of the LG witch and demon hunting paladin sun god even said he thought it was the appropriate path to take.

Certainly interested in an update of d20 Future. I'm assuming this would take the Modern SRD and pick out those elements that support your Dark Horizons line and then revise.

Just about. We'd also add some new mechanics more suited to dark sci-fi flavor too, but that's the basic idea.

I definitely would; RC and ES both have the flavor that seems lacking in most modules these days. I just can't place my finger on exactly what it is though.

Thanks! I aim for an old school quality with a seriously strong Storytelling bent. I also like it dark. I'm not writing for kids, but for mature adults interested in dark themes and probing the more horrific side of fantasy.

Hope you enjoy the books!

Nick
