Pathfinder 1E Sinister Pathfinder

I'd definitely be in for the PFRPG versions of both. I'm really interested in EC, as I need somewhere for my Council of Thieves campaign to go when it is over and the PCs are only at level 14. I'll just have to figure out where in Golarion to place EC and how to tie it back into CoT...

I'm very intrigued by the plot web notion you tease us with. Is there more info about that somewhere? I was just posting in the CoT thread on Paizo.com that I wanted to run CoT in much more of a 'sandbox' manner than intended in the AP. So your plot web notion piques my interest.

Definitely interested in pretty much whatever you decide to produce. Your track record speaks for itself, IMO, as do your current projects (what I know of them, at least).

PFRPG is probably my [new] preference, but 3e / d20 is fine too. True20 (or even better, M&M, if you're feeling really adventurous!) is also of interest to me.

But really, I have faith in the quality we're talkin' here, so it's all good.

Fantastic! :p

The PC cleric already tried to turn it. This was their first exposure to pathfinder beta turning which heals living things in the area. The scrawny cat healed up some rat bites so the cleric figured they shouldn't kill it. The ranger conjectured that it might be a lycanthrope and told the rest of the PCs the cat had tried to possess him. The last scene ended with Foley Riggs (an NPC crew member) standing there with his pistol out asking the authoritative PCs if they want him to shoot the cat.

I imagine the feel of Seabear would be hard to nail in an email campaign - true dat. Hope it all works out well for you. Have your sprung the ghouls on em yet?

Not yet, I expect many red shirt deaths when that comes. They've checked out the bow half of the ship and I expect them to hit the rat infested cargo hold next.

Delicious! Turning the half-starved cat! I love it! Keep me posted when the ghouls FEEEEEED! :)

Hi Micco! Keep you eyes on the Sneak Peeks blog and I'll post a little something about the plot web/inciting incident format I'm using for Razor Coast and Ebon Shroud. Actually that might make a better blog post for Sinister Minds at Work (the other blog on our site). I'll post here when I put it up, but there are some other cool previews and highlights appearing daily on Sneak Peeks, so check it out if you get a chance.

By the way everyone - now you can preorder Pathfinder Compatible copies of the Dark Vistas if you like - you just choose which version you want when they ship (I email everyone who pre-ordered).

Because the books are getting so monstrous (Razor Coast is at least, and Ebon Shroud will most assuredly be too too big) the prices on the site now are for pre-order only. When the books come out, they will probably go up. Order em now while their cheap if you want.

Thanks Aus_Snow! I aim to please! I'll do my very best to keep serving up terrible nightmares for players everywhere. ;)

OFF TOPIC: Is Paizo down today cause of the move? I can't get to their site...I'm like a crack addict with a broken pipe!

Thanks! I aim for an old school quality with a seriously strong Storytelling bent. I also like it dark. I'm not writing for kids, but for mature adults interested in dark themes and probing the more horrific side of fantasy.

Hope you enjoy the books!

Nick

I think it is that old school quality...the right balance of story, and detail, without overburdening the GM with too much text. Nick, will there be Cannibals in RC? :D

Super!

Noooot so much yet, but that's partially because I haven't seen Dark Horizons yet. Perhaps that may change my mind.

Regardless...interest? You bet. So glad Sinister is back on track!

Thanks Jeff! Me too!

I'll be firing up the Sinister Minds at Work Blog next week as well with design and gamemastery advice posts regularly. Check em out and chime in on the forums with your thoughts if you get the chance.
