Hm... I PMed Stonegod yesterday, but I'm impatient and want to try and finish up my 'math' section of my profile so my brain can shift more to Shanairra's story.

If I got two level 3 parcels and a level 6 parcel (an N+2 at level 1, a level N+1 at level 2 and a level N+3 at level 3) I would get 1/5 of that total.

The items I chose cost 360, 360, and 680 gold. So, 360+360+680=1400/5=280+100=380

Would this be the correct starting gold?

Sheet work in progress is found at the following link, if needed LEB:PC:Shanairra Zanne d'Lyrandar(Theroc) - ENWiki

stonegod is catching up from being away from home for a week. :)

Staring @ 4th level you get:
- 100 gp (from 1st)
- 3 parcels (1->2, 2->3, 3->4)
- 312gp (1/5 of the gold for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level item)
So, you should have 412gp.

The gold you get is not tied to the level of item you choose for your parcel (3rd, 3rd, and 6th), its tied to the level at which you got the parcel (1st, 2nd, and 3rd).

Oh, I see. Alright, so it's 412 for any character starting at level 4?

Sorry for the impatience, just want to try and get my mechanics done so I can get to my story elements and then submit the character for review.

In the equipment list, can a player just purchase a "Standard adventurer's kit", or would we need to list out each individual item within the kit?

I normally list mine out, but that's because my standard kit isn't 'standard'. At the very least I trade the normal rope for silk. {my characters are normally not very strong so the weight drop is worth it}

If it's totally standard I don't think it'll matter. At least until you start using things out of it. Then you either have to list what it has or what's missing.

I'd prefer Standard Adventurer's kit, easier to review when I input into CB

Heh, makes my life easier too.

Obviously as the kit changes, I'll change my entry, but to get started, I'd rather avoid worrying too much over that stuff. I agonize enough over all the other aspects of my character.

Edit:
Question- Are there any mundane items that are 'required' per se? Such as I've seen "Identification Papers" in a couple profiles, and am hearing mention of House Rings. Would such things be required in certain circumstances?
