China finds likely tomb of 3rd century general - Yahoo! News
BEIJING – Chinese archaeologists have found what could be the tomb of Cao Cao, a skillful general and ruler in the 3rd century who was later depicted in popular folklore as the archetypal cunning politician.

Archaeological officials say Cao's 8,000-square feet (740-square meter) tomb complex, with a 130-feet (40-meter) passage leading to an underground chamber, was found in Xigaoxue, a village near the ancient capital of Anyang in central Henan province, according to the official China Daily newspaper.

That is cool. I need to show this to my girlfriend asap. She is absolutely crazy about the 3 kingdoms era.

Awesome, I'm also a fan of that era. Koei may make repetitive, addictive, button mash fests, but its cause of those wonderful people I first learned about the Chinese Warring States period. Just one example of how history classes in school suck for not ever talking about it.

Anyone ever play Destiny of an Emperor? It wasn't anything like the original 3 Kingdoms and Nobunaga's Ambition. It was more like the traditional RPG of the 80s. Very similiar to Dragon Warrior or Final Fantasy 1 (the American version). Very fun game.
