I'd vote for none of the above. What I'd like to see, however, is a Pathfinder Basic game.
That would be a stripped-down d20 game with an old-school basic D&D feel to it. No feats, no skill points, no pumped-up 3.X classes and/or races.
I wholeheartedly agree that there needs to be a Pathfinder Basic game, expecially if Paizo plans to be around for the long haul (which i asume they do). However, i wholeheartedly disagree that it should be "stripped" of fundamental system elements.
A "basic" game that does not mirror the "advanced" game is no use to anyone. The basic game should grab, hook and hypnotize new players (whether or not they are new gamers). it should also be functionally complete -- not just a session's worth of play, but perhaps months worth of play.
A PF Basic needs to provide the basic archetypes for players and GMs alike up to level 4 or 5, probably in 128 pages between a couple books in a box. It needs to come with counters and a dry erase poster grid. It needs to have all the rules, if not all the options, or players and GMs to successfully run their own games for those 4 or 5 levels.
