Over in the 4E forum there is a thread already going - I`m urging everyone to email or write to WotC and expressive (POLITELY) their displeasure. Companies like WotC take customer opinion very seriously - they get a couple of thousand complaints about this and they will respond.

See, I really don't think they will do anything. Do I think they care? I think that some of the individual people there do, but not WotC as a whole/entity. They can't even bother to respond to their own forums, and you think they'll respond to a bunch of random e-mails? Not likely.

How would that help? If WotC hires more Customer Service Reps to answer emails, that's less money toward hiring Computer Geeks to program stuff into DDI.

Well several people have already reported getting free months or refund for September already.

If you honestly think WotC doesn`t care how their customers react to something like this there is nothing I can say that will change your mind.

It's a hard hard world, isn't it? If WotC is such a bunch of idiots, why do you give them your money? Stop doing that and by that stop complaining. Or else continue to give money to people you think are idiots and think again

My subscription is up in November (I paid for a full year). I won't be resubscribing. It's more than just this DDI nonsense; I think I've outgrown roleplaying. I just don't enjoy it (playing or DMing) like I used to. I suppose I should be grateful for rampant stupidity at WotC to help me break the habit.

Yes, I'm keenly aware of the purpose of ENWorld, thank you very much. I've only started coming to the realization that roleplaying no longer interests me like it used to in the past few weeks, so it's not as if I've been hanging around for years simply as something to do. I do appreciate your not-so-subtle attempt at pointing out my stupidity, though--at least no one can say that certain people here aren't helpful.

If you want us to offer advice in an attempt to get you to reconsider your recent distaste for RPGs, I am sure we can muster up that sort of intervention. Is that something you might be interested in hearing?
